Weaving threads of grotesque and ethereal electronics, Makeda navigates the sectoral contains of intimacy and sonic boundaries, manufacturing a post-future sound from the club, but not necessarily for the club.

Influenced by an array of experiences, ‘Venus Leak’ tracks the process of recalibrating oneself in the face of a changing world, centrally - musing on doomed love and the final destination of personal growth.

The EP was completed during the move back to Makeda’s home-town of Brisbane - where the space, blue sky and sub-tropical weather play strongly into the concepts of intuition and self-realisation.

We acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the Traditional Custodians of the Country where we live, create and work, and recognise that sovereignty has not been ceded. We pay our respects to their Elders, past, present and emerging.
